Although "Honey, grab your coat!" is The Mung Brothers' first official release, Rich Gantner and Dan Palladino have been recording music together since 1985.

Hailing from opposite ends of the musical world, the lads quickly found common ground through a shared love of silly, clever lyrics, big vocals and melodies that won't get out of your brain. They also discovered that Mung could be seasoned with classic rock, country, R&B and latin flavors and it would still taste like pop music. What would happen if Bob Dylan, The Eagles and Bare Naked Ladies got together at Brian Wilson's house for a drunken jam session? That's a recipe for some tasty Mung, my friends.

"Honey, grab your coat!" contains eleven songs that span the entire history of The Mung Brothers. Some will make you think, some will make you laugh, but they will all have you singing along and driving an extra mile or two to keep the fun vibe going.


The Mung Brothers create a unique blend of rock and pop fused with witty humour. The results are catchy tunes that satisfy the ears and make you smile. The song "Put Away Your Guitars" is sure to stick around in your brain long after you've heard it.
